The statement did not disclose the employee's name, but stated that between April 2015 and April 2022, he sold 4400 mobile devices without the company's permission.

The former employee sold all the equipment over seven years and made huge profits from it. Bandai Namco also filed a civil lawsuit in the company court in January 2023 against the matter, demanding that the former employee compensate 600 million yen in losses.
