YANGONodinmegaways, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed in a car fire triggered by downed power line in Myanmar's commercial city Yangon on Monday, a fire services official saidodinmegaways.

The fatal incident occurred at around 8 a.m. local time on Monday in Mingaladon Township of Yangon Region when a dump truck and another vehicle nearby caught fire after a power line fell on them, according to the fire services official.

Ko Htin Lin Aung, an official from the Pale fire services department, told Xinhua on Monday that the two vehicles have stopped when the power line fell on the vehicles.

The victims, including two men and a three-year-old girl, were found dead under the dump truck when fire service personnel arrived at the scene, he said.

The victims were residents of the area and were taken to a nearby hospital, he added.
